Azure is a floor-length appliqué kaftan in a rich teal-blue, its front and sleeves traced with tall vertical bands of ornamental appliqué in soft gold and silver. Every motif is cut by hand, placed piece by piece, and stitched down with needle and thread, so the pattern climbs the length of the garment like carved latticework. A clean round neckline and three-quarter sleeves with soft slit openings keep the silhouette quiet, letting the craft do the talking.
