Noir is a floor-length appliqué kaftan in midnight black, with gold leaf-and-vine appliqué running along the V-neckline, down both sleeves, and around the hem in a deep border. Small gold florets and clusters of sequins are scattered across the body, catching the light as you move. Each leaf is cut by hand, laid piece by piece, and stitched down with needle and thread, finished with a fine gold piping at the cuffs.
Rooted in the Sindhi appliqué tradition. Made to be worn, and remembered.
